Is Slinked really free?
Yes. The free tier includes everything most communities need: directory, smart matching, pre-crafted messages, welcome DMs, QR codes, and cross-workspace profiles. No limits on members.
Who pays for Pro?
Pro is billed per workspace, not per user. Community organizers or admins typically upgrade when they need CSV exports, channel sub-directories, or white-label branding.
Does Slinked send LinkedIn connection requests automatically?
Not yet. LinkedIn's API restricts automated connection requests to approved partners. Slinked provides direct profile links and pre-crafted messages you can copy with one click. We're pursuing LinkedIn partner access for future automation.
What data does Slinked collect?
Only what members explicitly share: LinkedIn URL, name, photo, location, role, bio, and goals. LinkedIn OAuth provides verified name and photo. We never access messages, DMs, or private channel content.
Can I use Slinked across multiple Slack communities?
Yes! Your profile follows you. When you join a new community that uses Slinked, your info is pre-filled. You can customize your profile per community if needed.
